Mikala Menegio-Stahl is the Office Manager for the Public Diplomacy Division at the State Department's Foreign Service Institute (FSI). Before joining FSI Mikala earned a B.A. in International Studies from American University where she focused on the Global Economy and East Asia. She studied abroad at Peking University during her junior year and returned to Beijing during the summer of 2019 for a full-time language immersion program in Mandarin Chinese. During her studies Mikala interned with the International Trade Administration, U.S. Commercial Service, and as a VSFS intern with the State Department. Mikala is keenly interested in joining the Foreign Service and hopes to bring a gender-equality-based approach to the State Department.
